We strive for a life balance of passion and responsibility. We exist in all shapes and forms across the world, but our focus is the same: immersion in the outdoor playground.
Mad Trees started as a small group of people brought together by an unspoken philosophy to always say YES. Another cup of coffee? Yes. Want to catch the sunrise? Yes. Should we spend the night in the Stark's Nest? It's 10:30 pm, snowing and -10°F, so Yes. Surely if you're reading this, you've experienced where life can take you if you say Yes. As this small group of people became an expansive network, we needed to define the interest in the community and find a way to nourish its growth. The documentation of constant outings became our means for getting people involved, pushing limits and sharing it to build our community.
Practicing minimalist extravagance, distinct positivity, and highly resourceful adventure planning, Mad Trees has since evolved into a nationwide network, people getting after it in mountain towns and cities, seeking their own balance of passion and responsibility.
We believe in Farm to Table content and are always looking for ways to collaborate.
Mad Trees wants to serve as a platform for our fellow creatives and athletes. These are worth a watch.
Micah and Anne washed dishes together at a tiny Italian restaurant in the smallest town in Washington. This dreamy piece was filmed in Japan and at Mt. Baker Ski Area by his brother Mattias Evangelista and edited by Micah. They are absolutely crushing and this is just the beginning.
In May 2018, Harry Kearney, Timmy Taussig, Jerry Mark, Jann Eberharter and John Taussig set sail for a unique backcountry snowboarding adventure. Starting from the coastal city of Bellingham, Washington, the crew loaded up a sail boat with splitboard gear and sailed north into Canada to go explore a wild zone in British Columbia that is only accessible by boat.
